It has been long since I have written, or created anything on Backlight. From the time of my last creation, a multitude of change has occurred. My life has been accompanied by greater understanding, healthier emotions, and patience to endure all that is within me, and within the world. I come to write this piece tonight, as a letter of victory over my past afflictions. Times remain trying, as they will forever, unless the world ceased to be a broken place. Still I will recover, and life will happen, even if i cannot. My love for writing was struck with a severe blow, a saturation of confusion, one that left me questioning every thought and action, to the point that, writing became an obligation. I find that if writing my heart, my experience, and my discovery becomes an obligation, that I have become stagnant, and must lift myself from such dormancy. I will not try to fool you, no, I still have much to learn, and more to forget. I have less to try harder at, and even more to feel free doing.

I have grown tired, and can no longer keep my eyelids open.
