Inspired by: Fall, Portland, Memory, Love, Rain I took this picture walking through Portland on a typically wet, rainy day in late October. It sits framed on my dresser, a reminder of that memory- walking without a destination, falling in love, rain on my face, stopping to notice the trees and being perfectly content in that moment. I'm sure a lot of people will look at this picture and say it is beautiful. But it inspires me to remember the unexpected gifts of an unplanned day. And to plan a little less often.
